Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-06-25 This Privacy Policy applies to WideVista ("Company") and explains how we collect, use, and share information through our Services. Our Services comply with GDPR for users in the EU. We deal with two types of information: (1) personal information that identifies you—name, email, phone, address—and (2) anonymous information that doesn't identify you, like usage stats and aggregated data.

1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

Automatically collected data. When you visit our website, we log your browser type, OS, ISP, IP address, access times, and which pages you came from or left to. Personal information comes in when you register, contact us, subscribe to newsletters, or connect a social media account. We collect your name, email, location, birthdate, gender, device identifiers, geolocation, and social media profile data. Anonymous information includes usage metrics, device and browser details, diagnostic logs, click paths, and advertising identifiers like Apple IDFA and Google Advertising ID. Using the Services means you consent to this collection.

2. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

We use your information to: — Provide, maintain, and improve the Services; — Analyze how people explore and personalize what you see; — Serve ads and run marketing campaigns; — Manage your account and answer support questions; — Send service notifications and newsletters (you can opt out); — Follow legal obligations and protect our rights.

3. INFORMATION DISCLOSURE

We share your information with: — Service providers who work on our behalf—hosting, payments, analytics, email; — Our affiliates and subsidiaries for internal purposes; — Law enforcement when the law requires it or to stop fraud and illegal activity; — Third parties if we merge, get acquired, or sell assets. De-identified or aggregated data can be shared with anyone without limits.

4. COOKIES AND TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES

We use cookies, web beacons, pixel tags, and local shared objects to check how the Services work, track what people do, and deliver ads. Third-party services embedded in our site collect data under their own privacy policies. Your browser settings let you manage or block cookies, but some features won't work right without them. Flash cookies need separate management through Flash Player settings. Want to know which third-party services we use? Email info@widevista.space.

5. ADVERTISING

Third-party advertisers use tracking technologies to collect info about your demographics, location, and device so they can serve you targeted ads. On mobile, you can opt out of behavioral advertising through your Apple or Android device settings.

6. PUBLIC COMMUNICATIONS

Your username and profile picture show up to other users. Anything you share in chat, message boards, or public profiles can be picked up by others. We're not responsible for information you choose to give away to third parties through the Services.

7. DO NOT TRACK

The Services don't respond to Do Not Track (DNT) browser signals because there's no industry standard for DNT yet. Check allaboutdnt.com for more.

8. CALIFORNIA RESIDENTS

California Civil Code Section 1798.82 lets you ask what categories of personal information we've shared with third parties for direct marketing in the past year. You can request this once a year by emailing info@widevista.space.

9. ACCESSING OR CHANGING YOUR INFORMATION

Contact us to get, fix, or delete your personal information. We have to keep some data for legal reasons, and we may charge a fee if the law allows it. Reach out at info@widevista.space.

10. DATA STORAGE AND RETENTION

Data gets stored and processed around the world by third-party providers. Using the Services means you're okay with your data being handled in places that might not have the same privacy rules as yours. Personal information stays around until you ask us to delete it or it's no longer needed for why we collected it.

11. INFORMATION FOR EU RESIDENTS (GDPR)

Legal bases for processing. We process personal data based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), performing a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)), legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(c)), vital interests (Art. 6(1)(d)), or our legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)). Data retention works like this: we delete personal data when it's no longer needed for its original purpose or when the law says we have to. Log files stay around for up to a week to keep the website working and secure, then we strip away the identifying details. Google Analytics gets used with IP anonymization. You can turn it off using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on at google.com/analytics/privacyoverview.html. Cookies that are necessary get used under Art. 6(1)(f). Cookies for analytics need your consent under Art. 6(1)(a). Your browser settings control what cookies you allow. Newsletter signup uses your name and email just to send you the newsletter. We delete that info when you unsubscribe. Legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)). Game registration data is used to let you access the Services and gets deleted when your account is removed. Legal basis is the contract (Art. 6(1)(b)). Your GDPR rights let you contact info@widevista.space to ask for access, correction, deletion, processing limits, data portability, objection, and to opt out of automated decisions. You can also file a complaint with a supervisory authority in your EU member state.

12. CHILDREN

Kids under 13 can't use the Services. We don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you're 13 to 18, your parent or guardian has to give permission before you use the Services or share any personal information. Parents and guardians can ask us to remove a child's information by emailing info@widevista.space.

13. SECURITY

We use SSL and other protections for your information, but nothing is completely secure. Use the Services knowing there's some risk, and keep your password to yourself.

14. UPDATES TO THIS POLICY

We can update this Privacy Policy anytime. Changes take effect 30 days after we post them at widevista.com unless we say otherwise. If you keep using the Services, you're accepting the updates.
